Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Scopex Technologies Limited ("Scopex", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies, software development kits (SDKs), and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at scopex.money or use our mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Platform"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally. By "cookies and similar technologies" we mean cookies, pixels, local storage, mobile SDKs, and device identifiers — any technology that stores or reads information on your device.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time.

Because our Platform includes both a website and mobile apps, we also use technologies that are not strictly "cookies" but do the same job on a mobile device:

TechnologyWhereWhat it does
CookiesWebsiteSmall text files stored by your browser
Local storageWebsite & appStores preferences and consent choices on your device
Software Development Kits (SDKs)Mobile appThird-party code bundled into the app that collects analytics, crash, or attribution data
Device identifiersMobile appAdvertising IDs (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and installation identifiers used for attribution
Pixels / tagsWebsite & emailTiny invisible images that register when a page or email is opened

Throughout this policy, we use "cookies" as shorthand for all of these technologies.

2. Your Consent and Choices

2.1 We do not set non-essential cookies without your consent

When you first visit our website, we show you a cookie consent banner. No analytics, functional, or marketing cookies are set until you make a choice. Only strictly necessary cookies (which do not require consent) are active before then.

On our website we use Google Consent Mode v2 together with a first-party consent banner. Your decision is stored on your own device (in local storage, under the key scopex_cookie_consent) so we remember your preference on your next visit.

2.2 You can accept or reject by category

You are not limited to "accept everything." You can:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Reject all non-essential cookies (strictly necessary cookies remain, as they are required for the Platform to work)
  • Choose by category — accept some types and reject others

Rejecting non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them, and will not stop you from using our core money transfer services.

2.3 You can change your mind at any time

You can update your choices at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer. On mobile, you can manage tracking preferences in the app settings and in your device's privacy settings (including Apple's App Tracking Transparency controls on iOS).

2.4 Consent renewal

Your consent choice is not permanent. We will ask you again periodically (and if we introduce materially new cookies) so your preferences stay current.

2.5 Managing cookies in your browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working. Guidance for common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

3. Cookies We Use on Our Website

3.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)

These are essential for the Platform to function — for security, authentication, load balancing, and remembering your consent choice. They cannot be switched off.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Links

Some cookies are set by third parties listed above. We do not control these cookies. Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy. Where these providers act as our data processors, they are bound by written agreements requiring them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.

Our Platform may link to third-party sites (for example, app stores). This Cookie Policy does not apply to those sites — please review their own cookie policies.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our cookie and SDK providers are based outside your country, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally through these tools, we rely on appropriate safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified), and Canada's adequacy status.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over the personal data collected through cookies — including the right to access, delete, or object to processing. These rights, and how to exercise them, are explained in full in our Privacy Policy.

  • EEA / UK users: Rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and cookie-specific protections under ePrivacy rules and the UK Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
  • US users (incl. California): Rights under the CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • Canadian users: Rights under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25.
  • Indian users: Rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

To exercise any of these rights, contact dpo@scopex.money.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the tools we use or in the law. When we make material changes, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

This is version 1.0 of our Cookie Policy.
